INFORMATION ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Zhytomyr Professional College of Management and Security is an institution of professional pre-higher education that carries out educational activities as part of the Higher Educational Institution "Interregional Academy of Personnel Management" as a separate structural unit.

The College was established in accordance with the decision of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management on December 29, 2008 as a College at the Zhytomyr Institute of the IAPM in order to meet the labor market needs of the city of Zhytomyr, Zhytomyr region and other regions of Ukraine in qualified specialists.

In connection with the reform of the system of professional pre-higher education and bringing the constituent documents into line with the current legislation of Ukraine, on November 24, 2025, the College was renamed the Zhytomyr Professional College of Management and Security of the Higher Educational Institution "Interregional Academy of Personnel Management".

Currently, the Zhytomyr Professional College of Management and Security of the IAPM is a modern institution of professional pre-higher education, focused on training competitive, responsible and practically trained specialists for the public sector, business, law enforcement, security and management systems.

The college concept is based on a combination of high-quality education, practical training, management competencies, legal culture and security thinking. The college forms a new generation of specialists capable of acting professionally, decisively and effectively in the face of modern challenges, social transformations and increased requirements for security, management and law enforcement.

The key idea of the College's activities is to create an educational environment in which students receive not only solid knowledge, but also skills for practical application in real professional situations. The educational process is aimed at developing leadership, discipline, responsibility, analytical thinking, digital literacy, communication culture, and the ability to work in conditions of risk, uncertainty, and high responsibility.

Zhytomyr Professional College of Management and Security is a place where students receive not only knowledge, but also real opportunities for professional development, self-realization and development. We train specialists who are able to analyze, organize, make decisions, ensure order, protect the interests of society and work for results.

The educational process is based on the implementation of modern pedagogical technologies, interactive teaching methods and digital educational tools, using computer technology and the Internet.

The college has the necessary material and technical, educational and methodological, and informational support for training specialists, including a library stocked with current Ukrainian educational and professional literature, regulatory and legal materials, and information resources on professional activities and employment.
